Faculty milestones in awards, publishing and research this August.
August brought a series of faculty milestones across Vignana Jyothi.
At VJIM, Dr. Suresh Chandra CH, Associate Professor – Marketing, received the 2nd Best Paper Award at the 7th TCA Annual Conference on “Viksit Bharat 2047 – New Dimensions in Commerce and Management in the Era of AI”. His paper examined digital transformation adoption and AI-integrated smart learning ecosystems in Telangana's higher education industry.
Dr. Amarnath Reddy B, Assistant Professor – Finance & Marketing, received the Best Outstanding Research Award at the Global K. Kamaraj Educational Development Awards 2026. Dr. Akuthota Sankar Rao, Assistant Professor – Marketing, added to the research output with a meta-analytic review of service recovery published in the International Journal of Quality and Service Sciences by Emerald Publishing; the journal is indexed ABDC-B and Scopus Q2.
At VJIAS, academic contribution took another form. Prashant Pandey, M. Anuradha and M.S. Rachana from the Department of Commerce authored “Business Organisation and Management” for first-year B.Com students. Published by Vagdevi Publications, the textbook was released on 12 August 2026.
Together, the developments show faculty work moving beyond the classroom - into conferences, journals, recognition platforms and published learning resources.
