Across Vignana Jyothi, August offered multiple examples of learning moving beyond conventional classroom boundaries.

At VJIM, students visited Masqati Dairy to observe dairy production, quality processes, packaging and cold-chain operations, while a visit to Gubba Cold Storage introduced them to supply-chain management and temperature-controlled storage. The Centre for Agribusiness Management also opened its AgriEdge Guest Lecture Series with Mohan Babu Rajaram, COO, Bayer Crop Science – India, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka. The session examined India's agribusiness landscape, industry opportunities, career pathways and sector skills.

Entrepreneurship entered the first-year conversation through a CIE Entrepreneurship Awareness Seminar led by Udayan Bakshi, Chief Mentor & CEO, Founders' Valley Research Foundation. Learning also travelled in the other direction - from campus to industry. VJIM conducted a two-day Management Development Programme for 25 mid- and upper-level managers from Aurobindo Pharma, marking the beginning of the fifth year of association. Dr. K. V. S. Krishnamohan also conducted a one-day “Know Your Why?” MDP for employees of Hetero Drugs.

At VJPS, professional learning for teachers featured a Cambridge English Subject Workshop focused on methodologies, classroom practices and effective use of Cambridge learning resources. Students also explored traditional craftsmanship through crochet and pottery workshops conducted by the Crafts Council of Telangana. A field trip to DRNVJIRD connected learning with direct observation and practical experience.

At VJIAS, the 2026-27 Induction Programme introduced newly admitted students and parents to academic processes, student support, certificate courses, clubs, placements, NSS, NCC and extracurricular opportunities. International Commerce Day then moved students from orientation to application through a Business Quiz, Business Idea Presentation, Micro Business Stalls and Advertisement Making - activities designed to build creativity, teamwork, business acumen and entrepreneurial thinking.

At VNRVJIET, the B.Tech First-Year Student Induction Programme on 3 August familiarised the new batch with the institution, faculty, peers and the academic experience ahead. Industry-Academia Conclave 2.0 extended that learning into the professional world through conversations with HR leaders on employability, leadership, workplace expectations and career readiness.

Different formats, one common direction: learning becomes more powerful when students and educators can connect knowledge with experience.
