A Decade in the Classroom

Sunitha Pabba's ten-year journey as a Social Teacher at VJPS began, in her own account, almost by chance. Over time, it became a calling.
Her experience changed her understanding of teaching. What once appeared to be primarily about delivering lessons and completing the syllabus grew into something broader: understanding children, nurturing confidence, instilling values, encouraging curiosity and shaping character.
She also credits the support of the school management and Principal, regular feedback, workshops and participation in school activities with helping her develop as an educator and take on greater responsibility.
Long service is often measured in years. Its deeper measure, however, is how experience changes the person doing the work - and the people around them.
